The Friday-evening 5K and Saturday-morning Half Marathon run a paved\, point-to-point course through the foothills of the Smokies\, with shuttles\, music\, and aid stations all weekend long. Make race weekend a vacation — Smith Creek Resort is a short drive away and a peaceful place to recover after the run. Who It’s For: Runners of all levels\, walkers\, families\, and destination-race enthusiasts. What to Expect: 5K Friday evening\, Half Marathon Saturday morning\, point-to-point course with shuttle service\, aid stations\, finisher’s medal\, and post-race ceremony at Talley Ho Inn. Do’s: Register early (prices rise as the race nears)\, pack layers for cool morning starts\, and use the official race shuttles. Don’ts: Don’t drive to the half marathon start line — runners must shuttle.
