The Christmas edition of Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales returns to the Gatlinburg Parkway weekend evenings from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Strolling musicians, costumed Victorian characters, mountain storytellers, and carolers fill the streets with free holiday entertainment — set against more than 5 million LED Winter Magic lights.

What to Expect: Roving Victorian-style musicians, carolers, mountain storytellers, costumed characters, bluegrass holiday performers, and impromptu shows along the Parkway.
Do’s: Walk the full length of the Parkway, stop at the Christmas shops along the way, and tip the performers.
Don’ts: Don’t expect a stage or schedule — the performers roam. Don’t drive in if you can avoid it — use the free trolley.
