5-Day Spring Itinerary for Families in the Smoky Mountains
Day 1
Begin your trip with a short 15-minute drive to Sevier Air Trampoline & Ninja Warrior Park. The large indoor space allows kids to burn energy while parents relax nearby. Spring weather can shift quickly, making an indoor activity a strong first-day anchor.
From Sevier Air, continue about 10 minutes to The Island in Pigeon Forge for lunch and exploration. Kids can enjoy interactive fountain areas and sweet treats while the family strolls at an easy pace before heading back to your cabin.
Return to your cabin for a relaxed evening. Enjoy the lazy river if weather allows, or gather inside for a family movie night in your private theatre room.
Day 2
Drive approximately 12 minutes to Wear Farm City Park in Pigeon Forge. The wide-open green spaces, paved walking paths, and large playground areas make it ideal for families with kids during mild spring weather. Parents can relax on benches while children enjoy open play in a safe and spacious setting with mountain views in the background.
From Wear Farm Park, continue about 10 minutes to Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant in Sevierville for a relaxed lunch. The spacious dining rooms and classic Southern menu make it comfortable for families. After lunch, return to your cabin (15 minutes) for rest time before the evening.
Spend the evening entirely at your cabin. Let the kids enjoy the lazy river and mini golf while adults unwind nearby. End the day with a family movie night in your private theatre room.
Day 3
Drive about 8 minutes to the Titanic Museum Attraction. The interactive exhibits and storytelling format keep kids engaged while allowing the family to explore at a comfortable pace indoors.
Continue 5 minutes to Lumberjack Square, where kids can enjoy playful attractions and open outdoor space before returning to your cabin.
Keep the evening calm and close to home. Enjoy mini golf or a relaxed family dinner inside your cabin.
Day 4
Drive approximately 20 minutes to Foxfire Adventure Park. The suspension bridge walk and outdoor obstacles provide light adventure suitable for families with older kids during mild spring weather.
From Foxfire, return toward Sevierville (20 minutes) and stop at Goats on the Roof for a quirky and memorable break. Kids enjoy feeding the goats and exploring the playful setting.
Spend the evening relaxing at your cabin, enjoying sunset views and time together without additional driving.
Day 5
Drive approximately 20 minutes to Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area. The open meadow and river setting provide space for kids to explore safely while adults enjoy the peaceful spring atmosphere.
Return toward Sevierville (15 minutes) for lunch at Roma Table Italian Kitchen. The comfortable seating, slower lunch pace, and warm atmosphere make it well-suited for a relaxed midday meal before heading back to your cabin to pack at an easy pace.
Conclude your spring getaway with a quiet final evening at your cabin. Let the kids enjoy the pool one last time while the family winds down together.
