Route: Start by heading north on Rambling Creek Way, then turn right onto TN-338 (Douglas Dam Road). Continue for about 9.5 miles, then turn left onto US-411 North/US-441 North toward Newport. After approximately 23 miles, merge onto I-40 East toward Asheville. Drive for 47 miles, then take exit 20 toward US-276 South/US-19 South. Continue on US-19 South for 13 miles, then turn left onto US-19E North toward Roan Mountain. After 28 miles, turn right onto TN-143 (Roan Road) and follow it for 3 miles. Roan Mountain State Park will be on your left.
