The Smoky Mountain Military & Relic Show is the centerpiece of Pigeon Forge’s Celebrate Freedom month. Held at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center, the event features authentic military memorabilia, Civil War artifacts, the Cost of Freedom Tribute exhibit, guest speakers, and a Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Parade on the Parkway — a moving community tribute to veterans and first responders.
A meaningful late-August outing for guests of Smith Creek Resort, just minutes away in downtown Pigeon Forge.
Who It’s For: Veterans and their families, history buffs, military memorabilia collectors, and patriotic visitors.
What to Expect: Civil War and modern military relic displays, vendor swap meet, Cost of Freedom Tribute exhibit, parade on the Parkway, and tribute performances.
Do’s: Veterans should bring military ID for free breakfast offerings at participating restaurants. Arrive early on parade day for good viewing.
Don’ts: Don’t touch unmarked artifacts on display. Don’t park along the parade route on event morning.
